Writing Things: This week’s been exhausting
JFcjfklfnalfjf!!

That might be the most succinct thing I have to say about this whole week in general. It’s Saturday. One more day to go yet before it’s even over, only for the next one to come around and exhaust me again. Sigh.
But! BUT!
I managed to write. Hurrah! I didn’t get as much done as I would like, but some is better than none. So far it all looks like:

Aegis: 2600 words
- Chapter 15, finished
- Chapter 16, +251 words
I’m pretty sure most of those 2600 worde were utter garbage, seeing how hard it is for me to get back in the swing of updating after going on such a long stretch of time w/o doing a thing to the fic, but at least that’s what exiting is for? Ughughhhh.

Dark!Pretty Woman Reylo AU: 666 words
- Chapter 1: +200 words
- plot: bulletpoints up to chapter 10. No idea of ending.

This story is so underdeveloped. I have an idea, a certain mood I want the story to have, and half a prayer that I might be able to write it eventually.
I doubt it’ll be published any time soon. I have accepted the fact about myself that I can only really work on 2 WIPs at most at a time, and right now I have three. So this one’s staying as an underdeveloped WIP for a while. I gotta focus on Aegis and Blackout first.

Arghhh, I wish, man. I’m trying, at any rate, but I’m also feeling so disconnected from the overall tone and story after not having updated since like... April? I think? I promised EJ I’d write another chapter for it this week and so I’m allowing for all the word diarrhea to come out and then relying on heavy editing later to make these chapters work, but it’s hard to find my groove with it again. I imagine I’ll also have to do some major re-writing of the plot... which is stressing me out. Ty for the vote of faith though hon, because I surprisingly am feeling less qualified now than I did last year, ahaha.

My dude. My pal. You can take ages and not update, but it's still better to have that "oh this feels awkward" update than to never go back to it ever. You'll be back in the groove soon enough, and your readers will more than likely never realize there was a hiccup at all. (source: I'm the queen of forever-delaying-updates)
And hey, a re-write of your plot isn't a bad thing, either. You're probably seeing things that you were glazing over before. Or, this new iteration will just be more fun to write with how you're thinking now. Either way, it'll be bueno <3
